Commotion membership

Are you studying communication in Groningen? Join Commotion and make your time as a student extra special! Everyone who is studying communication in Groningen at the University of Groningen or Hanze University of Applied Sciences can join our study association.

What does it cost?
The contribution of a Commotion membership costs €16 per academic year. We will collect the contributions via a direct debit during the academic year. A Commotion-year starts on the 1st of September and ends on the 31st of August. You do not need to register every year. When you do not cancel your membership before the first of September, you will remain a member of Commotie for the next year.

What do you get for it?
First of all, you can join all our activities. Most of these activities are free for members. You will be updated about the activities by our monthly newsletter, or you can take a look on our website to find out yourself. We organize all different kinds of activities, like workshops, lectures, in-house days, congresses, parties, a trip abroad, a hitchhike weekend, monthly socials, etc. Activities - Introduction weekend for new CIS students (bachelor, pre

Additionally, you can participate in one of our nine committees . The committees all have their own tasks and consist of members who actively contribute to the association alongside their studies.
